Save on Your European Vacation

As the exchange rate for the dollar declines, it becomes increasingly more expensive for anyone traveling to Europe . There is some good news, however. There are ways to save money on travel to Europe without sacrificing comfort or pleasure.

* Airfare - Dare to Compare. Airfare can be one of the largest costs of your trip, so make sure you plan your trip early and comparison shop with different airlines and different online travel brokers.

* Plan In Advance - One of the best pieces of advice I can give to any traveler is to plan ahead! Be flexible in the number of connecting flights you arrange for. It may take you a little longer to get to your destination, but it can really save you some serious money to spend once you get there! Are you able to travel at off-peak season? Does it really matter what day of the week you leave or return? Check the cost of airline tickets for departing at various times of the day. You will be very surprised to learn just how much money you can save if you remain flexible and fly at off-peak times and dates!

* Discount vacation packages are another great way to save money on your vacation.
